To stop deadly threats, an African American artist haunted by her visions must reclaim her passions and forge tricky partnerships.

SYNOPSIS:

"Tempo Indigo" is a movie about a voiceactor called Indie (only her mom calls her Indigo) who's starting the best gig of her career working for sexy client Theo when a strange future vision about a man from her music industry past returns. Overwhelmed as her feelings for Theo grow, her visions ramp up and a possible stalker emerges, she confides in her professor parents, who reveal that they also have powers and some rules for how to use them. Despite their warnings, Indie reveals her powers to Theo as their relationship grows and her passion for music returns. He helps her hone her gifts, which help them and others heal old wounds.

Indie seems to have this powers thing down (apart from troubling visions of a distant future) until she gets stuck in a vision that reveals that her sort-of-stalker is actually working with her mom and other powerfuls who are being hunted by a terrifying woman. Indigo secretly gathers a tenuous team to protect the powerfuls, but tensions rise within the group as the whole world learns that all people have the potential to have their own superpowers and the group sees that Indie is the most powerful of all powerfuls.

Despite shocking betrayals and rising jealousy, and buoyed by chances to right old wrongs on a huge scale and by the emergence of unexpected powers for several on the team, overworking Indigo and her crew create a powers-based tool together that has the potential to advance social justice now and in the future, if they can just stay alive and agree on how to use it. But they get locked in a group vision. Can Indie convince her crew to use all their powers for good before a racist bomber with a grudge against Indie and her team claims innocent lives?
