Richard Evans

Richard is an award winning Production Designer and Set Decorator working on projects internationally across Film, Television and Theatre. Working across the world, Richard has created productions in Germany, Australia, China, Nigeria, Austria, Hong Kong, UAE, Singapore and throughout the UK and Ireland. He is based between the Australia and the UK.

Beginning his career as a Set and Costume designer for Live Performance, Richard's work has covered Musicals, Drama, Opera and Pantomime, designing over 70 productions including the West End Premieres 'Seussical' and 'Guess How Much I love You'. His work on 'Peter Pan' was recognised with the Off West End Award for Design in 2025.

Since 2011, he has worked extensively as a Production Designer, Set Decorator and Art Director for Film and TV. His work has covered Feature Films, High End TV, Commercials and Shorts, for companies including Amazon, Netflix, Sky, HatTrick, Pathé, Film4, BBC and ITV. Richard's experience includes studio builds and location shoots across both modern and period pieces.

He is well versed managing large departments and can deliver on budgets big or small. A collaborative team player, adapting quickly and enjoys forging strong relationships with Directors, Producers and fellow HODs. He has a wide and varied knowledge base, including technical and creative abilities, problem-solving skills, and a calm, organised approach.
