A homeless young man struggling to survive the brutal Phoenix heat wakes to find society collapsing around him, and is forced to join a small group of strangers as an unseen horror begins to close in.
SYNOPSIS:
In the blistering heat of Phoenix, Theo J. Sterling, a homeless man scraping by day-to-day, struggles to survive against dehydration, isolation, and the quiet indifference of the world around him. Armed with little more than a crowbar and instinct, Theo navigates the streets in search of water, shade, and something resembling stability.
But after collapsing from exhaustion, Theo awakens to something deeply wrong.
The city is quieter. Too quiet.
As he wanders through unfamiliar stillness, Theo crosses paths with a small group of survivors, each carrying their own fear, confusion, and fragments of what might have happened. Communication is scarce, trust is thinner, and no one has answers. Only a growing sense that whatever changed the world didn’t happen all at once… and isn’t finished yet.
The horror remains mostly unseen, reduced to distant sounds, fleeting movement, and the tension of being watched. It isn’t until the group takes refuge inside a store that the danger finally makes itself known. As pounding erupts from outside and something begins trying to get in, the survivors are forced to confront a terrifying reality:
They are no longer alone.
And whatever is out there is only getting closer.
