About Giovanni
I am a film and media professional with twenty years of experience in national and international contexts, in the creation of content, in the production and development of film projects, videos, short films, fiction and in the editorial direction and magazine design.
Graduated from the “National School of Cinema” of the Centro Sperimentale of Cinematografia of Rome, specialized in editing, I attended courses of Direction and Advanced Screenplay which, combined with the experience in the field, gained in the management of complex activities and projects, allowed me to obtain a full mastery and complete knowledge of the market and its dynamics. Always operating in this field, I have covered over the years, positions and tasks of increasing complexity and responsibility, dealing with the management of production companies, start-ups and personal activities but also with executive and creative direction of important projects.
I am a dynamic and versatile person, creative and enthusiastic, constantly evolving. The work represents for me a great source of gratification: I love what I do, because it allows me to combine my artistic sensibility and my passion for cinema, with my organizational attitude and my ability to coordinate, plan and manage projects and resources. The desire for innovation and discovery, the need to tell my stories, led me to search for new communicative frontiers, to experiment with challenging projects, new digital trends and different visual languages. Used to thinking in terms of objectives, stimulated by an innate curiosity and the ability to easily learn and "absorb" new things in different contexts, I succeed in interfacing successfully, at various levels, with the interlocutors of the sector, relating to clients, funders, distributors, production companies, authors and editors.
Autonomous in the technical, creative and managerial management of the activities, I have achieved a complete vision of every phase of the development of a project, pragmatic in the resolution of the critical points in a perspective of optimization of time, budget and respect of the editorial plans. I have coordinated numerous and heterogeneous work teams in terms of origin and function, enhancing the contribution of each, promoting dialogue, collaboration and a proactive approach to problems.
Personal vicissitudes have brought me back "at home", but the skills and the deep know-how acquired so far are an important and precious baggage that I believe can be enhanced within a lively and vital reality like yours. I am looking for new professional opportunities in film and communication, in line with my expectations, my skills and consistent with my professional career.
