Jessamie is a composer based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2014 she scored her first feature-length film "Damaged", and is also scoring three short films.
After studying Music Composition and Songwriting for Film and TV with Berklee Music Online in 2012-2013, she backpacked around America and Canada, networking and attending film festivals.
In 2014, after completing the score for "Damaged" Jessamie interned for film composer Chris Doucet and sound designer Jake Proctor in Utah, USA. The voyage proved to be a great source of knowledge and inspiration. Hungry for more information, Jessamie enrolled at the Australian Institute of Music in 2015 where she is studying a Bachelor of Composition and Music Production.
In her spare time she also studies Orchestration, which is complemented by her involvement with the violin section of the Victorian Youth Symphony Orchestra in the violin section.
