Schmidt, Jr., Joy Lewis, Russell Pitre, & Frank "Blackie" Campo In 2005, St. Bernard Parish, a community on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Through the personal stories of four long-time residents, we witness their loss, healing and rebuilding, their resilience, and what connects people to the place they call home. Premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival in October 2016. Screened at the Madrid International Film Festival in July 2017, where we won Best Director of a Short Documentary.
