Thanks for this! I'm not an actress, I work crew side, but it's difficult to remember that anything could happen. It's hard to go back to the free gigs once you've been in the nicely paid ones as it feels like taking a step back (not to mention you can't pay bills and work your butt off). Even in my experience with getting on better things because I have taken free gigs in the past, this was a nice reminder that anything can happen with hard-work and determination.
