I met Mr Day-Lewis years ago when he was living in Ipswich, Mass, while filming "The Crucible". He and Paul Schofield --another "great"-- were eminent gentlemen. Day-Lewis' interest in and openness to other people was what you would expect from one who can 'become' another. Great actors have great insight into the human condition. Day-Lewis is one of them.

Other than being pure junk by itself, AN AMERICAN HORROR STORY is ridiculously caricaturistic in its character portrayals. It could have aimed for at least a shred of credibility.
