NEW LIFE

NEW LIFE
By Dasha Leigh

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense
LOGLINE:

After a groundbreaking invention by tech visionary Aidan Allen, humanity finally conquers death and achieves immortality. The world is now divided into two realms: the real and the digital — where people live ordinary lives, face everyday problems, and go to work. But this seemingly perfect system begins to crack when a mysterious man from the digital world reaches out to Will Rice, a newly promoted employee at the corporation that controls it all. Together, they uncover a truth powerful enough to turn the world upside down — and spark a civil revolution.

SYNOPSIS:

At its core, NewLife explores the timeless human struggle for justice in a world reshaped by

technology but plagued by the same old inequalities. As the boundary between life and death

dissolves, a new class divide emerges — between those who control the system and those trapped

inside it. The Zalime Corporation, led by the elusive Aidan Allen, profits from this imbalance,

upheld by complicit politicians, corrupted media, and a digital utopia hiding dystopian truths.

The narrative follows two contrasting protagonists: Will Rice, a corporate insider who begins as a

self-assured pragmatist, gradually awakens to empathy and becomes a reluctant hero fighting for the

people harmed by the system. John Haythorn, a former engineer turned vigilante, begins as a loving

husband seeking justice but spirals into a vengeful crusade that threatens to consume him and

everything around him.

Each episode uncovers new layers of Zalime’s secrets — its founding, its hidden operations, and the

dark truth behind its promise of eternal life. With every revelation, the stakes rise. Will risks his job,

safety, and eventually his family's lives. John sacrifices his ideals and, eventually, his soul. Their

parallel paths create a moral tension: one man finds his humanity, the other risks losing it.

Thematically, NewLife is an epic about life and death, power and resistance, the intoxicating pull of

revenge, and the transformative journey of standing up for what's right — or at least what we think

is right.
