Jon Santos is an accomplished photographer and award-winning cinematographer passionate about film. He has worked with countless couples, directors for web show and musicians to create images that reflect their own unique style. Jon states “Couples today are looking for a little something more. They are looking for images that reflect more of that movie feel that tells their own personal story. I try to constantly push the limits and provide each client with an exceptional experience. I love film in so many ways and I want each couple to walk away with a one of a kind, personal romance film”
Jon is always on a journey of new technology, the next thing. He has kept up with the change from the film to digital world converting from Mini DV cameras in to the DSLR world and now in to the cinema cameras like the Canon c100.
Working on independent projects like the multi award winning web series Hollywood Girl filmed around the LA area, and King of Fitness filmed around the New York area, and even music videos for the Rock Asylum Foundation that designs educational music videos with kids, for kids. “These are projects with low budgets but still want high production value. I have collected a number of cameras for different projects and that alone brings down the cost for the producers so they don’t have to rent camera gear. I feel anything with my name on it I always want to be the best quality images I can put out. Instead of having the producers rent a cheap camera and lens I have my own arsenal of weapons from cameras to lights to pick from, and most of it is all are travel size”
Jon is always looking for new projects to work on. Feel free to email about booking him for your projects.
