Sarah Louise Cook

My name is Sarah Cook and I am an aspiring film writer and production assistant. I write theoretical pieces, articles and reviews. I also write screenplays for short and feature movies. I haven't much experience in working behind the camera but I'd love to work in a production team and am open to work experience and volunteer positions. I am currently working on a website called .net which dabbles in cult film and cinema. I would love to write expertise on cinema and cult film as well as write creatively with screenplay.
I wrote a little about why:

That moment when you leave the cinema blinking as the film seeps through your head and into your veins. The moment where you realize that life will never be the same. Where the cars pass artfully, time passes slowly and you want to grab the next person and kiss them because you feel you are still in the movie.

When you become a character and the character becomes you. And every step you take is surrounded by words; dialogue and direction.

That is the moment that I want to live in. And that is the moment that I want to create.
