Hello everyone! I am a professional Actor and published Model. I've worked with both EA Games and Disney in their graphic studios as a model, I have done several SAG feature films as supporting characters, quite a few independents and shorts, as well as music videos and commercials. I've had a few magazine covers, book covers and modeled for a few company billboards, among other independent fashion and commercial ventures. I do this full time. I'm currently in Salt Lake City, and my goals are to be moving towards a larger market where the strength of my current work can launch me further into working in this business. I'm a character artist and another goal is to be working with some of the amazing effects artists in LA, New Zealand, and otherwise abroad. Hey everyone, I've been writing screenplays for the past couple years: tried a number of different genres (comedy, drama, horror) before writing a sci-fi spec called "Hiber" that recently got optioned by Amazon Studios (the script also made the semis of this year's Scriptapalooza competition). I'm John and I joined yesterday, so this is all kind of new. I have a degree in music, I served in the army, I was a professional actor in NYC for about 6 years (in and out of NY, of course), and worked with Christopher Hewitt ("Mr. Belvedere" on TV) in the first Broadway revival of "Finian's Rainbow." After that I became a Flight instructor in L.A. and got to meet a bunch of industry people, while at the same time writing 4 scripts. Prior to that, I won the Open Category of the American Song Festival, which is why I moved to CA. I eventually came back to Miami where I grew up and went to work with Dade County Fire Dept, and have retired as a Paramedic Lieutenant. In the meantime, I wrote a rather hefty historical novel about the early days of the nation of Israel after WW One, and have also completed 3 more screenplays. Two of those ("Silence" and "Esperancia") have won a total of 5 competitions: 4 film festivals in 2011, and one screenplay competition in 2007. They have also placed highly in other comps, and recently, "Silence" was the Thriller Category winner of the 2012 Fresh Voices Comp. I'm hoping that someone -- someday -- will share my passion for these two scripts and want to put them on the silver screen! I also finished another one last month and and working with some industry people trying to get it marketable. My wife is a CPA, and we have twin daughters who are out of college.

I have written 7 screenplays have been optioned a couple of times, wons some competitions and just made it through to the Nicholls Fellowship Quarter finals.
