Eoin Ó hAnnracháin is a director, writer and producer. After studying Performance Art in Coláiste Dhulaigh Dublin, he graduated from The University of Wales, Aberystywyth, with a BA Degree in Drama and Film & TV.
He wrote and directed "Erin Connolly and the Children of Lir" – a modern reworking of the classic Celtic myth for family audiences, and "Thomas Kent–1916 Rebel" – the dramatisation of the life of Thomas Kent, who was executed in 1916; which toured as part of the 2016 Commemorations; and directed "As Sharp As A Razor" – for the Abbey Theatre Outreach and Education Department, "Life Behind The Venue" – a backstage promenade performance in the Everyman Theatre Cork and Project Arts Centre Dublin. He has also directed the short films "Breakfast" by Jody O’Neill, and "The Night Shift" by Nicholas Kavanagh, as well as the dance film "River Fragments".
Eoin has produced the majority of his theatrical projects as well as several dance productions for artists such as Helga Deasy and Laura Murphy.
He also works as a freelance cameraman and editor. Most recently he has created video content for Decadent Theatre Company, The Everyman, Curious State, The Lime Tree Theatre and the Butter Museum.
