Claire Booker's hard-hitting dramas include 'Irish Roulette' (nominated for the Arts Council's John Whiting Award) and 'The Devil and Stepashka' (broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and nominated for a Writers' Guild of Great Britain MacAllan Award). Her work has won or been placed in a number of other competitions including the Douglas Clarke Award; the Leicestershire Playwriting Competition; the Wandsworth All London Literary Competition and the Southampton International Playwriting Festival. She is currently an associate writer with the London-based activist theatre company Goblin Baby Th Co.
