F. Braun McAsh

I have been a professional actor and fight choreographer since 1976, with work in both venues at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Shaw Festival, the Canadian Opera Company, and regional theatres across the country. I have also choreographed extensively for film and television as well as animated film. I am best known as the Swordmaster for the TV series HIGHLANDER, seasons 3 - 6 and the 4th movie of that genre, ENDGAME.
I have also been a guest instructor at over 30 institutions as well as 7 years with the Vancouver Film School.
I am also a published author of fiction and non-fiction.
I have been awarded several awards including the Theatre BC Best Performance by an Actor, the Sir Tyrone Guthrie Award, the City of Stratford Theatre Award, awards from both Theatre Ontario and the Ontario Arts Council as well as several Canada Council for the Arts professional development awards, and a nomination for the Jessica Richardson Award.
I am also a Western European martial arts instructor specializing in historical sword and am the chief instructor for The Ring Of Steel.
I also possess three advanced black belts.
