Kody Zimmermann

Kody Zimmermann is a writer.director currently in development of his haunted house script “The Hollow Season” with producer Rob Cowan and Echo 7 Films.

Kody’s latest short film The Familiar debuted at the Screamfest LA Horror Film Festival in October 2009. In November, it travelled to the New York City Horror Film Festival and has since been seen in over 50 film festival. It won Best Short at the Sitges Film Festival, widely known as the most prestigious genre festival in the world and is currently broadcast on Movie Central, Encore and The Sundance Channel.

He has optioned his first screenplay, “The Revenant.” His script, “The House on Widow’s Walk” made the Semi-Finalist list for The Slamdance Horror Screenwriting Competition, as well as a Finalist position in the WriteMovies Screenwriting Competition.
