THE BABY'S ROOM

An expecting couple buy a home unaware of the horrific, tragic events that took place in this house, but when death and tragedy strikes the couple, the young mother goes on a quest to find out the mystery behind the small statuette left behind on the baby's room before is too late.


SYNOPSIS:

A new mother has been warned by the baby's own grandmother that she must remove the small angel-face saint statuette from her baby's room or else her new born will be killed, but the doubtful mother ignores the warnings and as this story opens the mother alone in her baby's room as if possessed by an evil force takes a pillow and suffocates her new born baby to death and when she realizes what she's done minutes later she goes into the bathroom and smashes her head into the mirror and with a piece of glass she slashes her neck bleeding to death.

Months later a new couple expecting twin boys come to see the same house which is now up for sale and as soon as the walk into the baby's room which is still furnished and a very important figure, the guilty one of what happened in this room months ago, is still there in the dresser, smiling happily, waiting for its new parents.

The expected mother falls in love not only with the house and the baby's room but most of all with the small statute standing there in it's original place on top of the dresser. For this innocent couple and their love one's, the horror is just about to begin, for the small child saint will not allow any other male child to enter his house and if any other child does enter he will do all he can to get rid of him in a way that no one will ever suspect foul play.

However, he does have a menace living across the way from the house, a Cuban spiritualist, elderly woman, who knows about the "Santeria" religion and someone who's own child was taken by the same little subject many years ago, but to our little evil subject’s advantage, the old woman doesn't speak much English and the new couple who are Anglo don't believe on anything she tries to tell them as a warning when they first move in. They don't believe at first, but when strange things begin to happen, not only the death of one of their twin babies inside the young mother’s belly but to others who try to warn them.

Fear, suspicion and doubt sends the young mother into conducting her own research and investigation of the events of the previous owners and the story and myth of the baby saint in the baby's room. The frighten young mother now fears for her only son and as she goes on a quest for answers, her baby is in grave danger at home with a sitter who will be an instrument of murder for the small jealous, child statute, awaiting in the babies room.

Will the mother get back in time to save her baby? The old woman across from them does all she can to save the baby even though she has a retraining order against her. The young father who's a fire man gets a call that there's a fire in his neighborhood on a horrible stormy night where anything can happen. The young mother after she's uncover all she needs to convince her that this 'thing' she has in her baby's room is evil, as she rushes home in the middle of a storm gets into an accident by trees knocked down by the storm. Although hurt she runs home.

Meanwhile the old woman, who's whom has been turned into flames by the power of the small statuette, is able to get out and tries to stop the baby sitter from killing the baby. But as the old woman, neighbor tries to enter the baby's room through the window, the statuette shuts the window on the woman's hand, breaking her bones. She is able to get lose and run over to the back the back of the house and break the glass door and runs into the baby's room, at the same time the frantic, mother arrives. In the baby's room the old woman takes the statue and throws it at the closed glass window break it and it lands right outside her burning house, across the lawn.

The mother hugs the old black woman she's hated all this passed months and in an act of forgiveness and gratitude, they make her their child’s nanny.

The jealous, child-like statuette is gone, burned, buried, dead or is he...? Days later we see a 7 year old boy driving through the neighborhood and as he gets off his bike and walks towards his home he takes out of his back pack the same statue. The Child Saint is back looking for new parents and a new home he can call his alone, where he is the only king to reign as he always has done through the centuries.

Sorry, just read your comment, Sarah. Its two babies, but only one baby gets to use the room, one of them dies before birth. You have a point in what you are saying and about the state or city I agree, will work it out. Thanks for taking the time to comment, it means a lot.
