About Jessie

JESSIE BARNES JR.-DIRECTOR/WRITER
Started his career as a producer and director on Queens Public Access Network. He produced, directed, and edited a weekly Hip Hop show called "Underground Ruff House" for 15 years. Jessie started URH (Underground Ruff House) as a dream to give the unsigned and un-noticed musical artist a chance to be seen and get their music to the public. Jessie aka "Uncle Jessie" has interviewed artist such as Jay-Z, Nelly, 50 Cent, Faith Evans, Lil Mo, Lil Kim, and many other Hip Hop, R&B music celebs throughout the years. Uncle Jessie made his transition to independent film when one day he was asked by a local rap artist to film his music video. After the video was completed Uncle Jessie was convinced that he could put his stories
on film. Uncle Jessie's first film was a low budget independent film called "Flow". Noted and respected for getting that project off the ground with little to no funds it was selected for the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002. With this under his belt Uncle Jessie has a story to tell, lives to change and dreams to fulfill through "Legacy the Series" each episode builds up and the entire story evolves as the series continues to grow through the love and support of our viewers, fans, and affiliates.
