Expand postHello everyone, My name is Zach McClure. I've had this Stage 32 account for at least a couple years now at the recommendation of a friend, now I am starting to get more involved with this because I need to start communicating with other filmmakers online. For starters, my lifelong goal is to become a filmmaker. I have been a big cinephile for most of my adult life and recently I have been trying to get my foot in the door of making videos. I have been enrolled at the eMedia program at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash campus for at least 5 years. In that time, I have learned the basic aesthetics of how films are presented. I have gotten a lot of praise for my editing in the course. I have also started screenwriting too. Although the program has some limits as to what it can offer me, I feel that they have given me some direction as to where I want to go in life. I'm also currently in my last year and I'm working on my Degree Project. I hope to get some good insight and knowledge from various artists and creators on Stage 32. I hope to talk to you soon!

You can also invite fellow creatives through the site by using the "Send Stage 32 Invites..." button on the upper right side of your profile. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities. Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. Expand commentWelcome, Zach. You seem to be on the right path. As far as screenwriting , I can tell you the best way to learn is by writing every day if possible. Write about passion themes and subject matters close to your heart and read scripts of your favorite genre or directors and actors. I'm here for you, my friend. Good luck and stay active in the lounges, they are the heart of this website.
Sound advice. Keeping connecting. There are so many people to learn from on this site. Stay true to your path and best of luck on your degree project.

There's some amazing talent here. I think we should all get together and start producing our own films and create a new indie market.
