Kid Cop Academy Family Norm, a kid-hating, misfit cop is assigned by The Chief (who will do anything to get to get rid of him) to start a Malfoo Explorer’s Post made up of local 14-year old juvenile delinquents and prepare them to be cops and bring home a trophy from the Texas State Competition. Awards: Kid Cop Academy was a semifinalist for the Harvardwood Writer's Contest and in the top 25 of 3246 entries in the first ten-page Free Screenplay Contest. My Experience with Cops: I've volunteered with the Collin County Sheriff's Explorer Post in Texas for the past three years--usually playing the bad guy for their weekly scenarios--but also, I listened and nodded to teens who needed to talk or paid the 45.00 pizza bill for the Explorer Christmas party. Explorers are 14-21 year olds who want to experience what Law Enforcement is all about. Not every kid who joins ends up being a cop, but some of the finest cops start out as Explorers. A film about Explorers has never been made to date. Bio: ONLINE WITH LOVE in pre-production with William Garcia. Comedy monologue for TV Host Julia Sun to play off-Broadway.
