After writing for Film & TV for the past 12 years, I am thrilled to announce my plans to write the first of five horror/thriller novels with strong female protagonists. I am very excited to see what life is like as a writer on the other side of this business... I will be sure to keep everyone posted! ;-)

Luckily, I have outlined each of the five books already so perhaps a future lit agent or publisher can determine if it qualifies for "series" status or not... I guess I should just stay focused on getting them "in the can" ;-) LOL!
Brave move...I am trying to juggle writing both as the styles differ. And I don't want to forget that ability. Good luck and I hope to read you soon...

Perhaps the thread is a common trait shared by all, the women of the golden wing, women of the wind, or like the Chinese symbol for chi..... like a pot of boiling rice the immutable spirit... etc (pardon my ramblings)
Thank you for sharing. This encourages and motivates me even more to keep going . People often say to me, "It is amazing how you don´t give up." I must admit that it is rather a bit irritating to hear because I ask myself what I should benefit from "giving up". Anyway, hope that I will also have a positive experience to tell one day:-).
I try to be positive. I find that it brings good things. When you see people as good they become good. I think often people are so afraid of being judged that they expect to be judged even when they aren't. If that makes sense.

There is nothing wrong with stopping if the passion is not there, but giving up because someone says that you should or giving up for fear of not "succeeding" is never a good idea. Great thought

Expand postGreetings Everyone, My name is Paulette K. Kinnes. I am a professional freelance editor and writer (and reader!) based in Denver, Colorado. I have been freelancing for almost 9 years and have worked with more than 165 clients in a variety of ways. I spent 14 years in the legal field, drafting, editing, and proofreading documents for Colorado District Courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court. I otherwise have a vast amount of experience in speaking and in customer service. In addition, I am a sports nut (Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche) and am passionate about helping athletes, coaches, or others in the sports industry who have a fabulous story to tell, in whatever form they wish to tell it. If you have written a screenplay or are writing a screenplay and you would like assistance in polishing it up for viewing by others, please feel free to let me know. Also, if you or someone you know has either already written a book manuscript or would like to write a book, please do not hesitate to contact me. Regardless of what you have written, I would be happy to help you with creating a clean, marketable product. I may be reached at 303-517-7340 or via e-mail at paulette@platinumeditinggroup.com. As I have been encouraged by Richard to let all of you know of my dreams and aspirations, here goes! I would love to be a Hollywood script girl. And I don’t even know if there is such a thing! Perhaps someone could let me know. I am very interested in the business of making movies, specifically as it relates to the script. Since I have been reading and writing for a living for the last 23 years, I would love to be the person who initially reads the script. Does someone actually do this job? Please feel free to disabuse me of my fanciful notion, if necessary! Happy Writing! Paulette P.S. ~ If you know Boomer Esiason, please let him know that I would love to assist him with that book that he may not yet know he wishes to write!
You'll fit right in lots of writers in here welcome!
