Cherie Crusan is a writer, actress, director, and producer who is proud to share her first endeavor into filmmaking, Voodoo Domination. Born in Sunnyside, Washington, she grew up with a love of storytelling in all forms. Acting, writing, singing, dancing and even stealing Mom and Dad’s camcorder for some amateur film making—as long as there was a story to be told, she was eager to take part. By participating in traditional theater through high school and delving into improvisation during her college years she helped keep her love of imagination from being buried in the depths of reality.
After college Cherie moved to Los Angeles intent on pursuing her career as a screenwriter. Although her day job in the world of finance has at times encumbered her endeavors as a screenwriter she has kept writing and honing her craft. Voodoo Domination is her first undertaking into producing a short film and hopes that it will not only be a testament to her creative vision but the beginning of a great future in storytelling.
