About Matthew

Matthew is a dramatic writer whose interests include music, politics, dark and gritty dramas, and horror, particularly with a paranormal bent. He grew up in New York, just outside of New York City, where he attended The New School for his Bachelor’s Degree in Culture, Media and Screen Studies and Fordham University for his Master’s Degree in Elections and Campaign Management. Matthew got started in the film and television industry as an intern in college, first for Comedy Central, then The Colbert Report and finally with Martin Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions. Since then he has been working steadily in production and also served as the Writer’s PA on the final season of HBO’s hit show, Girls. He loves Aaron Sorkin and Guillermo del Toro and would love nothing more than to work on the next Conjuring movie.
