GAS! [SHORT SCRIPT]

Will a bedraggled vet be able to bring his whole troop back, retreating from the frontline, when they're subject to a mustard gas attack.
SYNOPSIS:
Can one find honour and meaning, when confronted by the true horror of war?
Based on the poem ‘Dulce Et Decorum Est’ by Wilfred Owen, GAS is a tragic tale of the fate that befalls one Soldier as his troop retreats from the frontline in WWI. It tries to depict the true horror of war.
It was originally intended to be a stop motion animation, and is unproduced; written for a special effects colleague in return for their services on one of my films. It's deliberately dark, with moments of stark beauty.

Hi Lee, nice concept for a short film! To bring this to a 5-star logline, I'd suggest rephrasing it as less of a question and more of a straight-up statement. For example:
Retreating from the frontline, a bedraggled veteran soldier must bring his whole troop back when they are subject to a sudden mustard gas attack.
