Though I was classically trained as an actor from the time I was 13 in both High School and College, creating and writing stories has been my greatest passion. I received my B.F.A. in acting at the University of Central Florida in their Conservatory Theatre program and it was through my acting experiences I gained an even stronger interest in writing and have been developing that skill all the way through. I write in all forms: verse, prose, poems, shorts, plays, pilots, specs, animation, screenwriting and more. One of the plays I wrote won a semi-finalist nomination at the Eugene O'Neill Playwright Conference in 2011. The TV pilot I wrote was a Semi-Finalist at Stage 32 Happy Writer's Pilot competition in 2015. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2012, I've been developing my writing for the screen, working on an epic high concept Pilot, screenplays and web series. I interned for a year at Level 1 Productions where I was able to really sink my teeth into the entertainment business here in L.A. and what it will take to get my writing to the next level.
I have an epic TV pilot, show bible and teaser that has garnered interest in town. More information and the Teaser can be viewed at Stratfordacademyseries.com. I'm always willing to learn, wanting to grow and pushing to excel. Life is precious and short so all we can do is attack each day one positive step at a time. Cheers to everyone for pursing their ambitions. Your passion inspires me.
I am more often than not sought after by friends and colleagues to help develop their scripts. I consult with them to make sure they are telling the story they want to tell in the strongest manner possible. There's nothing that is more exciting to me than helping someone tell the story they deeply want to tell.
I'm looking to expand my network with other passionate creatives who desire to affect audiences profoundly by challenging everything they think they know in as many creative and entertaining ways as possible. Art knows no bounds and its purpose is transcendence and riveting the heart, mind and emotions. Let's tackle this journey together.
