A Bohemian Martial Artist finds his life as a peace-seeking recluse come to an end once he's forced to fight illegal “ambush bouts” to save the life of his estranged brother. 

SYNOPSIS:

(LA Neo Noir Festival's "Best Writer" Award 2024) - All Marco wants is contentment through simplicity. A pacifist, loner and a skilled fighter, he's developed a kinship with The City of Angels. Believing L.A. is also trying to find itself among the fragmented neighborhoods and cultures. One evening he's jumped by a local street gang and forced to defend himself. The fight captured on a security camera has the local media dubbing him “The L.A. Vigilante”. Things get more complicated when billionaire DJ Jankey decides to use his resources to find and recruit him to his team of “Crash Bangers”, to fight illegal ambush fights, he films for sport and profit. Determined to have Marco on his team, he sends his personal bodyguard, Venice, to seduce and recruit Marco. Instead, it's love at first site. Marco is repulsed by the idea of ambushing people for sport, while DJ wont take “no” for an answer, kidnaps Marco’s estranged brother and has his team kill his best friend. Marco left with few options, agrees to fight. Not to join Jankey, but to defeat him, avenge the murder of his friend, rescue his brother, end the violent games and live happily ever after with Venice. It will take love, luck, vicious fighting skills and surviving fires, car crashes, gunfire, explosions, police, betrayal and... the Crash Bangs!
