David P Elliot was born in Reading in the UK and apart from 8 years in the Police Service in the 1970s he spent almost 30 years in the IT industry before leaving to concentrate on his first love, writing.
His debut novel ‘CLAN’, a historical, supernatural thriller, was published in December 2008 and so far has sold in 16 countries and has also been released as an e-book and as an audio book, read by the author. Unabridged, it has a run time of 540 minutes and is available on CD (8 CD package) and as a download in both MP3 and AAC (iPod) format. It has also been translated into German.
The supernatural is a recurring theme in much of his writing.
He has 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren one of which inspired the novel.
He is currently working on turning his book 'Clan' into a feature film
He now lives in Faringdon, UK, with his partner, a native of Munich. His latest book, ‘Pieces of Fate’ a collection of short stories was published in April 2011 and he is currently writing a sequel to ‘CLAN’ between indulging his two other passions, cooking and reading.
