Greetings, I'm Charlie. I've been an actor for a number of years, finally venturing in to the world of standup comedy, because, let's face it, life's not hard enough, right? I was typed as a "young Alan Arkin", "young Stanley Tucci", "young F. Murray Abraham", but I finally hit middle-age, so now it's just "Bald Semitic New York Dad". I've played doctors, lawyers, businessmen and if you watch my reel, you'll see me in a chase scene from the show Hack, opposite Big David Morse. You can see me soon as comic relief In Sanatorium, so to be distributed by Lions Gate, (woohoo). As a day job, I watch hundreds of auditions and do acting workshops at various State Thespian Festivals for a NYC Acting Conservatory. This past week, I watched 293 HS seniors audition for colleges in Dallas, and then I did 3 workshops yesterday here in Phoenix at Arizona State Thespian Festival.
