Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Alfredo Salvatore Arcilesi ritually watched movies as a child with his grandfather of whom his middle name is derived. It was during those years that he developed a passion for written, visual, and musical storytelling.
At the age of fifteen, Alfredo took a seat behind the drum kit for an indie rock band he had started under the name of False Godz. Also a lyricist, he took the musical poems he had written and translated them to scripts after the band became defunct two years later.
Attending York University for less than a month, Alfredo found his way to Trebas Institute (Toronto Campus) where he graduated with honours in the Film & Television Production Program in 2005.
Shortly after tossing his graduation cap in the air, he freelanced as a composer, photographer, and production assistant for a variety of short films, music videos, and other productions in and around Toronto.
2007 saw the birth of Alfredo's brainchild: Arcilesi Films. Since its conception, Arcilesi Films has produced a dynamic catalogue of multi-award-winning films that have graced screens throughout Canada and the U.S.
Arcilesi Films has reached an audience of over 100 countries and continues to expand and flourish.
