Hi, I’m Shanna May.

Here are some words so your brains can quickly summarize everything about me.

Visual Artist, Designer, Cinematographer, Filmmaker, Explorer, British Type Person and Online Media “taker-advantage-of-er.”

In late 2009 I started my online Art business, where I sell original artwork, prints, posters, hand-made crafts, specially designed clothing and other merchandise.

I create everything here myself whether it be traditional canvas oil paintings or digital illustrations designed onto t-shirts or iPhone cases. As someone who studied fine art, graphic design and 3D design in college, I delve into all areas of design in many different mediums and I’m proficient in all Adobe programs.

I also work as a freelance graphic designer, working on brand identities, logos, banners, business cards, letter heads, (all types of print,) web graphics, posters, advertising, digital illustration & cover art. I enjoy working closely with people from all over the world to create designs personal and adaptive to them or their business.

Creating online content and using social media to fuel business is really important to me. Over the past five years I’ve built a successful career around digital media technology, my experience has led me to develop strong skills using creative software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D.

Developing my website and working with clients after specializing in studying Graphic Design during college has developed my skills in the Adobe Creative Suites greatly. I have years of experience with HTML/CSS (Dreamweaver) and JavaScript coding whilst working with clients and prominent web developers. I have ongoing relationships with other figures in the social media world where I have successfully designed and developed their websites from the ground up.

I possess many skills with digital media technology with years of experience using a variety of equipment, such as my Panasonic HS700 and Canon D700 which I currently use.

Whilst developing my YouTube channels ShannaMayTV (Travel cinematography) and TheArtfulStudios (Time lapse Art cinematography) I have developed skills in composition and structure. My creative cinematography skills allow me to capture locations and scenes from a unique perspective.

I have extensive experience with designing sets, using lighting, working with green technology and After effects. I also have experience with jib-crane operation, creating motion graphics for video intros and outros, live online broadcasting, video story boarding and editing, and professional sound recording.

I currently work using a Mac book pro and a Acer Aspire V3-772G i7 16gb machine with 1TB hardrive using Final Cut Studios, Cinema 4D, Autodesk, Adobe CC/CS6 (Premiere Pro, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, After Effects) I’m an expert with a Mac and a PC with vast experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
