About Tony


Tony D. Head is an award nominated actor who returned to New York city in 2014 where he was featured in the critically acclaimed off Broadway production of "Hounds of War" at the Abingdon theatre. Tony played Major Bobby Reed in the HBO hit series "The Wire", and has appeared in HBO's "The Corner ,VEEP , and numerous other prime time shows including more recently CBS's Madame Secretary. In 2018 he will be appearing in "Asunder:The series playing Austin Blair, the head of a powerful cosmetic company , "Cracka" a new pilot with Keke Palmer and Hakeem Kae Kazeem , the feature film "Strive" starring Danny Glover,and the new web series" Bronx Special Investigations Unit". In April 2017 he was nominated best guest actor for the award winning drama "Pride: The Series by The Indie Series Awards. Tony lives in the Bed Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York.
