About Ashley

Ashley Erin Campbell was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. After graduating with a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Utah, she moved to LA to pursue a career in film and television as an actor, writer and producer. Ashley has primarily worked in independent film, working as a post production associate producer on features such as DIRTY LIES, executive produced by Catherine Hardwicke, and BLACKBIRD, starring Mo'Nique and Isaiah Washington.

She has written and produced short films, including: LIFE AFTER, ABOVE JEWELS, for which she won the Alice Guy Blache Female Filmmaker award at the Golden Door International Film Festival in 2016, and THOSE LIPS, which screened at San Diego Comic Con's Independent Film Festival in 2017 and won awards for outstanding producing and acting at 2017’s Zed Fest Film Festival.

Pilots in development include EROTIC NEUROTIC, which competed at the Oaxaca Film Festival script competition, and POLITICAL SCIENCE a darkly comedic female-driven sci-fi anthology series, and Rosies, based on women's experiences joining the work force during WWII.

Television acting credits include: YELLOWSTONE (2020), created by Taylor Sheridan, THE ROOKIE (2019) on ABC, BASKETS (2016), on FX, the popular TLC series SEX SENT ME TO THE ER, MY HAUNTED HOUSE on My Lifetime Network, as well as DEADLINE CRIME WITH TAMRON HALL and MURDER BOOK on the Investigation Discovery Channel.

Recent film projects include: short films LIFE AFTER by writer/director Jamie Wheeler, BEAST OF PREY by writer/director Danny Donahue, and the Hallmark Film THE CHRISTMAS BOW starring Michael Rady and Lucia Micarelli, directed by Clare Niederpruem.

Ashley has also had lead roles in the award-winning short films THOSE LIPS & ABOVE JEWELS, both available on Amazon. Other credits include roles in the feature films SAINT STREET and ONCE UPON A SUMMER. She was also a series regular in the 2013 series CRASH PAD.
