J. Andrew Thames is a freelance cinematographer based in Cleveland focusing on independent feature length, short form films and documentaries. When not shooting films, J. Andrew works on corporate videos with several different companies as well with his own clients. J. Andrew Thames also has experience working as a lighting and video technician for a variety of concerts and corporate events. After graduating Sum Cum Laude at Cleveland State University in their Film and Digital Media program, J. Andrew Thames has worked freelance for the past 3 years, with films being showcased both domestically and internationally.

It is a city that needs saving. After a series of police shootings across the country, the Government steps in with the FORCE (Federal Officers Resisting Criminal Elements) to protect the residents. The story is seen through the eyes of a young Latina police officer who becomes part of the FORCE because she saved a number of police from a massacre. The story is not all black and white, as the Latina police officer/government agent deals with her questionably ethical supervisors, an urban legend about a shadow devouring criminals and a Senator who has come to town to shut the FORCE down after a shooting incident.     Film (Short and Drama) Camera and Electrical Department The story was born from Skyler's own fears of coming out to his classmates as transgender after only a year of being out to family and friends. Skyler came up with the story of Terran, who is gender variant and does not conform to male nor female pronouns, in hopes of bringing more visibility to transgender issues. "House Not Home" is dedicated to Leelah Alcorn, a fellow trans teen from Ohio who committed suicide in January because her parents would not allow or accept her transition. In her suicide note posted on Tumblr, she wrote: "Gender needs to be taught about in schools, the earlier the better. My death needs to mean something." An extended version of this quote is showed at the start of "House Not Home."
