This sounds awesome - I know there were quite a few odd little German U-boat voyages through the Caribbean or down to South America, and the missions and cargoes just got odder as it became more obvious that Germany was gonna lose...it's very much an action plot, but the idea that some high-ranking Nazi might more or less commandeer a U-boat in order to get a bunch of stolen gold to safety in South America (for example) makes perfect sense in light of known historical facts too. Would definitely like to see this project happen.
