A multi-platform screenwriter and producer, Jorge Rivera's work has included independent television, film and award winning digital productions. He also teaches a variety of New Media subjects that include screenwriting and video production for the web.
At ValDean, he has served as Head Writer and Co-Writer on several of their most well known digital series including: ODESSA (winner of the SYFY Imagine Greater Award and development deal), LENOX AVENUE (optioned by BET Digital Networks), and the BABY DADDY MEMOIRS.
Prior to writing for ValDean, Jorge's best known work was the web series RHYME ANIMAL (starring Al Thompson (the Cleveland Show, the Royal Tennenbaums) and Craig "muMs" Grant (of HBO's OZ)), which recently took home the 2011 Independent Film Quarterly Best New Media/Webseries prize.
In 2010, he produced and directed the UNPROTECTED a branded content webseries which took home two Honorary Webbys in the Branded Entertainment category.
