Jen Lim

Jen began her filmmaking journey at the Beijing Film Academy, as part of the first international film production cohort, where she wrote, directed, and edited her first short film and worked on many others in various roles. She then decided to return to the UK to resume her film studies at the University of Bristol where she graduated with a degree in Film & TV.

Since then she has worked both and off set and has an edited an extensive range of projects. She currently works as a freelance photographer and videographer whilst writing and directing character driven dramas. Her focus is on stories which highlight societal issues and has so far covered topics such as addiction, domestic abuse and mental health in her writing, with many more she wishes to explore in the future.
