About Alex

Born in Queens NY, Alex’s family moved to Minnesota, where during long cold winters watching vhs tapes, he developed his love for film. When the time came, he attended college. After course work in cinematography, and creative writing, Alex, developed a keen interest in photography. Trying his hand first at journalism, and later gaining his first production position coordinating a 10 film, project with non-profit Intermedia arts. Realizing film work in Minnesota was rare, he moved to Florida, where after a stint as a sound recordist, he produced numerous award winning indie feature films and shorts.
He now resides in Miami, where he writes, and works as a freelance producer director, for his production company Odd Jobs productions.

Laura Matthews, a successful businesswoman, sees David reading at lunchtime outside her office window every day. Curiously drawn to him, she one day walks up to him and introduces herself. They quickly discover that they have a shared past. This is not the happy reunion of childhood friends but rather the reopening of old wounds that never healed and left them with lasting consequences. Empty Fuller is a story of the past. It is the story of how one small misunderstanding, one single moment in time, can have heartbreaking consequences. And how those moments can grow, and fester, in the fertile soil of an adolescent mind, until the only possible result is an explosion of rage, bitterness, and violence. Kirsten Øhrn Dyrud's haunting score ... Written by Anonymous
