About Ana

A young self proclaimed artist and movie junkie.

From a very young age, I became interested with Arts in general.
It began with photography, due to my father being a photography lover himself and carrying his camera everywhere we went. With time, I became more curious and ambitious towards the area, I submersed myself in it and started learning and experiencing.
Studied Multimedia, and then decided to study Image Reporter/Photojournalism, and that's when my interest developed into the motion picture, and has since been my biggest passion. I have promptly fell in love with cinema, and that's why I'm motivated to grow professionally in the cinematography field, and every day is a new lesson.

It would be a pleasure to one day honor the Portuguese Cinema Culture, just like Manoel de Oliveira, Miguel Gomes, João César Monteiro and many others did.
