Gabe is a second generation Cuban-American filmmaker. Born to a passionate (i.e argumentative) family of hardworking immigrants, he was raised in part by his grandma. Her love for bringing people together with dirty jokes and exaggerated stories inspired Gabe’s theatrics. He
exercised his imagination by putting on shows with his sisters. His grandma would also share her love of classic movies with Gabe at a young age.
Gabe went off to school in New York to study media production. There he taught video production to middle schoolers and special needs kids, while working in public broadcasting. Now, back in Miami, Gabe is an award winning filmmaker who works in media marketing for small
local brands. He also produces and edits short films for other passionate filmmakers. He strongly believes that exploring life with creativity, playfulness, and collaboration is the best way to bring people together.
