IN THE MOOD
By Stephen Fife

GENRE: Romance, Comedy
LOGLINE:

Stuart and Linda are modern lovers, urban professionals who are bored by their work and are looking for some kind of meaning in each other. Then there's Raimondo, their waiter. He has already found what he believes in, and it will affect the lovers in ways they could not have predicted.

SYNOPSIS:

STUART and LINDA are the modern lovers, 30-something professionals who meet and become involved. During their time together, they establish a routine of meeting in a local restaurant, where they engage in a private ritual to get them "in the mood," before going back to their place and making love. This goes on until one day, Stuart suddenly leaves.

Then, four months later, Stuart sends her a text to meet him in the restaurant. Linda shows up, uncertain what to expect. The only other person who knows what has been going on is their regular waiter, RAIMONDO. Neither Stuart nor Linda has really noticed him, but he has noticed them. And he has his own feelings about what has happened.

When things don't work out again and Linda sends him away, Stuart hooks up with other women. He desperately tries to put Linda out of his mind. But he can't, and he begs her to see him again.

But now things are different. Now she has all the power. She and... Raimondo.
