I've been working in the film and Television industry in Ottawa, Ontario for almost 10 years now. I got my toe in the door as an assistant locations manager before being taken under the wing of a local Unit Manager. I worked as a driver with in the department for a short time before beginning to unit manage productions myself. Unit managing was never my goal though and I eventually started making the switch to more technical/creative rolls as a grip, electric and now, camera operator. Along the way I've had great experiences working as an audio technician doing mobile sports broadcasts for many of the major broadcasters as well.
Photography is a passion of mine and I've started exploring the world of acting again; a passion from years gone by that never left my mind.
I also operate a blog at which is an effort to help those dealing with mental health issues know that they are not alone. I do this by offering my own experience, stories and thoughts as someone who, at the age of 17 was diagnosed with schizophrenia and 11 years later, "un-diagnosed."
