A troubled teen and curious art teacher are caught in a hellish battleground between good and evil, when they discover the Academy is no longer just a school for delinquent boys, as an evil presence builds an army for Armageddon with the souls of tormented students.
SYNOPSIS:
Please allow me to welcome you to “Knollwood Academy.” This intimidating structure is a home to delinquent boys and screw-ups. Established in 1905, this once prestigious institution had a reputation of training boys to serve a just cause, but through the years that has changed and it has become the essence of what nightmares are made of.
Deep beneath its confines a hideous demon by the name of Malik has taken up residency and is building an Armageddon army of freely given souls. His agenda is to rise above Satan. His army awaits encapsulated in cocoons for their final leader that will command them in battle and fourteen-year-old Grant Taylor is that final soul.
Grant is basically a good kid, but has adapted a rebellious attitude towards authority ever since his dad passed away leaving him to be raised by his hard working mother, Amanda who constantly logs double shifts at the hospital. His mind often burdens him due to his ability to read the thoughts of others and sometimes speaks them aloud. This so-called gift and his defiant actions are what landed him at the Academy.
The creepy headmaster Elias Mumsford greets Grant, and his mother. The bald pudgy man with sausage-like fingers, assures Amanda that her son will be in good hands. Nothing could be further from the truth. Shortly after enrollment, Grant’s cocky roommate, Joe Blockman, introduces him to a mysterious secret hole on the school grounds. Joe uses his arrogance and forceful nature to makes other do what he says. He convinces Grant to be lowered into the murky pit by rope. Once inside, he’s surrounded by a spongy tissue that pulsates as a bulbous tongue-like mass shoots up at his dangling feet. He pleads with Joe to bring him back up. When he does, Grant falls exhausted to the ground and exclaims; “It’s alive!”
One by one students succumb to tragic accidents and seem to vanish from the grounds. This intrigues the newly hired art teacher known as Coop who recently inherited his uncle’s farmhouse in Knollwood. He is of the curious minded and becomes interested in the Academy after he learns his uncle used to work there.
The discovery of a box full of old newspaper article on the strange accidents that have been occurring on the grounds reinforces his suspicion. He befriends Grant and together they uncover the truth that lies beneath the academy.
Their worst fears are confirmed with the discovery of a mysterious black book rumored to been written by Satan himself. Coop’s friend deciphers the book's archaic script and the time is very near for Armageddon.
Coop is captured and becomes encapsulated. Grant gives up his soul and joins the other zombie-like leaders. Mumsford leads the ceremony.
Malik finally reveals himself and is about to set his master scheme in motion only to have it interrupted by Amanda, and Mitch, an alcoholic looser with nothing left to lose. He survived the Academy years ago and is still haunted by the memories.
Malik threatens Amanda and forces Grant to plunge his physical body into a fiery pit to protect her, but seconds before he is about to leap, Grant exposes Malik’s true agenda. Knollwood becomes a battleground. They narrowly escape with one thought in mind. Is it truly over? I invite you to visit “Knollwood Academy” and experience for yourself the evil that lies beneath.
