WAR OF THE ANGELS
By Tony D. Pindrock

GENRE: Adventure, Drama, Fantasy
LOGLINE:

Heaven's most beautiful angel develops a narcissistic complex and the first war ever waged erupts in a battle for the throne of God.

SYNOPSIS:

When we think of Heaven, we imagine a beautiful paradise of peace, love, and harmony. But this Holy Abode was once under siege, and there was war in Heaven. In fact, the very first war ever wagged.

In the beginning, when only the three levels of heaven existed, the seven ranks of angels were created. Their only command was to glorify the Holy Trinity, which consisted of God the Creator Father, Christ the son, and the Holy Spirit.

Lucifer was the first and most beautiful angel created. He was endowed with supreme wisdom and was given the title of Archangel. A position that was to be respected by all other ranks and leaders, but Lucifer wanted more. Obsessed with his own beauty, his vanity burned an intense desire within him to be glorified. A yearning that was also nourished by his obsequious lackey, Beelzebub.

After a failed attempt, to win glorification by giving the gifts of “Living Creatures” to the Creator Father, a second command is given to all the angels. They are to serve a lesser form and new creation called man.

This infuriates Lucifer and leads to his wrongful thoughts. He is stricken with pain for his ill-mannered thinking. He chooses to struggle with the agony rather than succumb to it. On the verge of passing out, a black stream jets out from his head and forms into a seductive woman. She represents all his wrong thoughts against the Creator and is called “Sin.”

Lucifer is impressed with his new found power. He ravages Sin then kills her. The Heavens are in turmoil as he begins his rebellion. One-third of the highest ranks of angels join him. Michael and Gabriel lead the charge for the loyal angels.

Lucifer thinks he is on the verge of victory, but Michael finds his own inner faith and binds Lucifer and his fallen troops. God strips them of their beauty and banishes them to hell.

After a time of wallowing in self-pity, Lucifer rises from the flames to lead his demonic flock again. He takes the name of Satan and vows revenge on God by becoming the downfall of man, in the Garden of Eden.

War of The Angels” stimulates the imagination as to how Good and Evil may have originated. It is written in a way that will appeal to Secular and Christian audiences alike. It has received high marks of 10 out of 10 from Script Savvy Feedback in Narrative and Dialogue.
