William Carnahan

Will is a freelance Cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Focusing on commercial and narrative work, Will uses his passion for photography and movies to bring his own creative eye to each story.

With a backdrop in darkroom black and white photography, Will earned a B.A. at The University of California Riverside in Film theory. He went on to earn a M.F.A. in Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University where he honed and practice the art of cinematography.

In 2008 and 2010 Will was awarded the Panavision Cinematography award at the LMU Film Outside The Frame festival.

Working for over 6 years as a cinematographer, Will has shot on a variety of systems including 35mm, 16mm, DSLR, Mirrorless, GoPro, RED, Black magic, Sony, Panavision, and Alexa.
