A waitress’ view of reality is altered when she risks her life to free a young girl from her abusive father, a dirty cop.

SYNOPSIS:

JAMEY, (20’s), lives with STAN, (30’s). A waitress in a diner, she’s in a rut and feels stuck in her life.

The only other man showing interest in Jamey is OFFICER KARL MURPHY, (40’s), a cop, and a regular at the diner.

MAGGIE, (10), shows up, and although Jamey knows nothing about Maggie, she is eerily familiar with who Jamie is.

Desperate, with ten days before she’s to be sent to live with her grandmother, Maggie pleads for Jamey to help her, her twin sister, and mother escape her abusive father.

Maggie reveals to Jamey that Officer Karl Murphy, a dirty cop, is her father.

Things unravel for Murphy when Jamey agrees to help Maggie. Suspicious, he hires a private detective, and Jamey’s life is now in danger.

Jamey becomes obsessed with taking Murphy down which creates tension between she and her boyfriend.

In a final showdown, a beaten and bloodied Jamey shoots and kills Officer Karl Murphy.

A detective visits Jamey in the hospital, and informs her a forensics team has dug up the bodies of Maggie, her sister, and mother in the back yard.
