About Kara

Am a screenwriter interested in bringing focus and attention to topics needing social awareness and change to create a better and safer world. Started writing thirty years ago. Took courses thru Frances Ford Coppola's interactive site, Zoetrope.

Am a ProSeries60 Alumni with ScreenwritingU. In 2016 completed courses in the Mini Movie Method with Chris Soth and Hal Croasmun, then Thriller, Profound Screenwriting, Horror, and ProSeries60 courses with Hal Croasmun at ScreenwritingU.

AIMEE LOGLINE - Returning from Afghanistan, Jessica, a Spec OPS Marine, finds herself in a war she never imagined and discovers middle America suburbia has changed when her thirteen-year-old sister, Aimee, is abducted by sex traffickers.

Have co-written three more scripts with director, Lee Whittaker. DAMINI - Action/Thriller, FUSE - Action, and BUDAPEST - Action/Comedy.

Received a rating of EXCELLENT for Cinematic/Production Value on my Action/Adventure titled, EVIL IGNORED by Andy Raymer "Story Maverick", and am currently writing the manuscript for the story.

Have written four other scripts and a limited series from the book, 'Santa Cruz, The Island of Limuw' by Dale Kornreich.

Unique traits: Turned 72 in 2023 so I have a lot of life experience under my belt.
