Divin Enfant (2013)
Film by Olivier Doran (Comedy) 1 st Assistant Director En épousant Sarah, une viticultrice de St Emilion qui a déjà eu deux maris, trois filles et dont le premier amour est aujourdhui le mari de sa propre ex-femme et le beau-père de sa fille, Jean ne se doutait pas quil allait devoir passer le réveillon de Noël avec toute la tribu. Ce qui napparaissait déjà pas comme une sinécure va alors se transformer en cauchemar, quand Sarah va lui offrir son premier cadeau : elle porte leur enfant... Ce que Sarah ignore, cest que son mari est stérile. Et pour cause : il ne lui a pas dit quand il se sont rencontrés, de peur de la perdre. Il connaissait en effet son désir davoir un dernier enfant et na pas osé lui avouer sa condition. Les soupçons de Jean vont bien sûr très vite se porter sur les ex de sa femme. Mais entre Xavier, le commissaire de police qui se lance en politique, Eric, le directeur du Centre dArt Contemporain de Bordeaux et Thomas, la vedette de rap commercial, comment savoir qui est le coupable et confondre le géniteur de lenfant, sans éveiller les soupçons de sa femme? En utilisant toutes les méthodes que la psychologie offre pour faire parler les gens, même les moins orthodoxes, Jean va tenter de démêler le vrai du faux, mettant sérieusement en péril léquilibre de cette soirée ordinairement consacrée aux enfants. Le comportement erratique du maitre de chaix de Sarah, engagé pour faire le Père Noël va terminer de transformer la soirée en catastrophe nucléaire. Le 25 au matin, comment sera devenue cette famille recomposée? Décomposée?

Café de Flore (2011)

Film by Christian Carion (Drama, Romance, War, History and 1 More) 1 st Assistant Director In 1914, World War I, the bloodiest war ever at that time in human history, was well under way. However on Christmas Eve, numerous sections of the Western Front called an informal, and unauthorized, truce where the various front-line soldiers of the conflict peacefully met each other in No Man's Land to share a precious pause in the carnage with a fleeting brotherhood. This film dramatizes one such section as the French, Scottish and German sides partake in the unique event, even though they are aware that their superiors will not tolerate its occurrence. American and Soviet find themselves in an uneasy partnership as they hop around Europe trying to stay alive. Notes: Baryshnikov hated this movie he refused to even do publicity for it. He also fights the phantom, an unknown guy who lives since many years in the catacombs below the opera and was granted privileges by Carriere.
