About Johnny

Award winning Actor/Writer/Director/Filmmaker. Born, raised, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Studied acting at New Actors Workshop under Mike Nichols, George Morrison, and their amazing faculty. Also, under Paul Sills, Aretha Sills, the Sills family, and their renowned faculty at Paul Sills’ Wisconsin Theater Game Center (Sills/Spolin Theater Works). For writing, Robert McKee and Steve Kaplan seminars, Gotham Writers Workshop. Johnny owns "Nora Lune Productions" whose short films, "à la mémoire de Lune" (2017) and "Love Lives in a Void" (2019) received numerous selections, awards, nominations on the international film festival circuit. Johnny's feature screenplay, "She Kisses Thorns", was an official selection of Beverly Hills Film Festival 2017, semi-finalist of Shoot Your Sizzle 2018. Latest short film release: An experimental film, "At the Thought of You", available for free https://youtu.be/W6f7BqHSj2k Latest feature film screenplay, "Pulse of my Heart", has received much acclaim with many awards and nominations; it's currently in development with plans for a crowdfund campaign. He plays keyboards / backing vocals in the post-hardcore/experimental band “Crusade” (Multiple Award-winning original song, “Until The End of Forever”, written for “à la mémoire de Lune”).
