About Wes

Wes Whittaker is a Writer/Director/Producer/Actor who has been making movies for over 20 years. He studied film at both New York University and Santa Fe University of Art and Design. He has directed shorts, documentaries and most recently a Sci-Fi Fantasy TV pilot. He has written several shorts, one TV pilot, eight feature length screenplays and multiple commercial treatments for national brands. He has worked as a crew member on several big Hollywood productions including the Academy Award Winner “No Country for Old Men”. He has a diverse background and along with filmmaking, writing and entrepreneurship he acquired a Masters in Psychology. His experience as a counselor and a teacher in the field of psychology has inspired new depths in his writing about the human condition. Wes is passionate about the art and business of filmmaking and strives to create cinema that not only entertains but also intrigues, educates and inspires audiences.
