Paul Montesano

Lifelong musician and songwriter, Paul studied music at an early age and followed his passion performing originals and popular songs in his own unique style. Studies in psychology, spirituality, myth and symbolism have guided his literary pursuits in screenwriting, comedy and music production. A talent for impersonations and a love of satire led Paul to complete his current screenplays.

His recent and best work, "The Adventures of Baba Linguini": is the story of a young chef chosen by an elite group of Renaissance geniuses, to go on a fantastic Quest. It was written as a feature-length fantasy-animation, with a multicultural cast and original songs. Together with the daughter of Italian nobility, Baba searches for the four final ingredients to revive an ancient recipe for a Sauce with supernatural powers.

This musical and whimsical tale takes a satirical view of the vanity, greed and corruption of the Renaissance Era. A new age of commerce and world-exploration led to an explosion of creative self-expression and new discoveries in science and the arts. An obsession with wealth and fame marked the emergence of our Western Civilization and a surprising parallel to our current times.

This fully developed project includes a 111-page screenplay, character artwork, and more than a dozen recorded songs.
